Hi Jet and Arli here! Today we went for a very cool new walk to a place we had never been before so we couldn't wait to get out and explore all the new smells. Once we were leashed up we headed off on our walk.
As we continued walking along, the path really opened up and gave us a great view of the surrounding area.
We both got very excited when we saw the river and would have loved to have had a splash but sadly doggies weren't allowed off.
Suddenly as we walked along we spotted a little flood way and there were these cute birds enjoying their lunch.
We stopped to admire the birds for a little while before continuing on with our walk.
We walked a tiny bit more before deciding to turn around as the weather was starting to look stormy.
It wasn't long before we had made it back to the car where we jumped in ready for a good rest. Once getting home we enjoyed out lunch and watched as the clouds started leaking so the humans were very happy to have got home when they did. Can't wait to come back for another walk soon.
What a fun walk! It reminds us of our Farmington Canal Trail when we lived in our apt in Hamden.
ReplyDeleteIt is always fun to try somewhere new for a walk, especially on a nice day. Lightning can't wait to get the green light for his walks to resume. It is great walking weather here now.
