BIG ROCK WALK

Hi Milo & Jet here! Yesterday we went for a lovely walk at our local You Yangs.  We were very excited as we hadn't been there for a while.  We decided on the big rock walk for this adventure.
There were many interesting smells along the trail and our noses got a good work out sniffing out what each one was.
After working out our first smell we headed off on our walk.  The You Yangs is lovely and green at the moment.
Stopping for a sniff.
Then Milo & I found a very big rock so we decided to stop and pose for photos.  Once we found the perfect spot we put on our best smiles and started posing.
After getting our photos taken we started heading back towards the car. There was still some lovely scenery on the way back. Once we had reached the car we jumped in and fell asleep.

RSPCA MILLION PAWS WALK

Hi Milo & Jet here! Yesterday we woke up very early in the morning and we could smell it was going to be a very exciting day. Once we had found our Ros we got very excited as she already had our leads and her camera ready to take us on an adventure. We all headed out to the car and jumped in and headed off. It wasn't long before we worked out where we were going.  The RSPCA Million Paws Walk one of our favourite yearly doggie traditions where we make lots of new friends.  We first had to sign up for our walk.
It didn't take us long before we started sniffing out lots of new friends.
Then Jet & I got a big surprise when we spotted our doggie friends Turtle, Miska and Dixie. We all were very excited to see each other and after saying our hello's we all headed off on the walk together.
Then as we were walking around we came across a very interesting dog that all our humans had never seen before. It's called a Caucasian Ovcharka. There are only 50 of the breed in Australia so our humans were very excited to meet one. Isn't he a handsome boy?
We continued on until we came across a lovely patch of autumn trees so Ros and I decided to get our photo taken in front of it as Milo was busy making friends.
We soon moved on and it wasn't long before we had reached the end of our walk and we were around lots of doggies again. It didn't take us long before Milo & I made friends in two other lovely labrador doggies.
Then Milo & I heard the competitions whre starting. There were five different competitions including biggest and smallest dog, best trick, dog owner look alike, best frisbee catch and waggliest  tail.  Milo & I settled down for a nice rest while we watched the smallest dog competition begin.
The winner was the tiny seven month old chihuahua wearing the lovely pink neckless. You almost needed a magnify glass to see her. The next doggies to enter the ring were the big doggies.  Although we thought big was something of an understatement.
The winner of the biggest doggie competition was the handsome big blue dane boy and he was huge. He towered over even the other two danes that were competing against him. In the the big doggie competition there was a special prize given to the lovely white dane doggie as she was deaf so people decided she deserved a prize as well so she got some yummy treats and her human got a toy to play with her with.  The next competition was the waggliest tail competition which both Milo & I had entered so we went in wagging our tail to the best of our labrador ability.  There was some very stiff competition. We were up against all doggies who were wagging as hard as they could.
We did a lap around the arena being watched closely by the judges. The we lined up again and waited to find out the winner. It didn't take long before the announcement was made. The winner of the waggliest tail competition was ME.  Ros gave me a big hug :)
As you can see we were both very happy to have won.  Next was the dog owner look alike which was won by the doggie and owner that both dressed up like "Where's Wally?"
Then I made my best fur friend of the day in a lovely bull arab doggie. We had a great time playing bite face.
While I was busy making friends Milo was busy doing the same with a lovely 11 year old black labbie girl.

Well after saying hello to these last two friends it was time to go as we were very tired after such excitement.  Everyone else was leaving as well. We can't wait for next year when we can catch up with our doggie friends again.
