OUR NEW COLLARS

Hey Milo here. Today we got presents! We were very excited when Ros's Mum arrived home as we knew there was something for us. We could not wait to see what is was. Well, it was new collars! I had a beautiful red leather collar until yesterday when it fell apart which was very upsetting. I had owned it since I was young boy but unfortunately it decided it was time for it to go to collar heaven.

See how at the end its broken? That's where the buckles used to be. So our new ones are very fancy, they're reflective and adjustable. I got a purple collar and Angus got red.

Aren't they cool? The paws and the bones are the reflective bits! Here we are modelling them. Don't we look cool?

Dosen't the red look good against my coat?

Don't I look so handsome?
Then it was Milo's turn to model his new collar.

Doesn't he look handsome?
Then after all the excitement and modelling was over we decided it was time to have a rest. After all, being a model is hard work!

Good night everyone.

A WALK DOWN HOFFMAN'S

Hey!Milo here. Today we went for a walk to a lovely place we had not been before. It's called Hoffman's Walk. It's found in Lara and it is full of lovely plants.

Isn't it lovely?

We've just arrived and can't wait to get going on our walk and sniff all the new smells.

Off we go.
Futher on we stopped to take more photos

Isn't it just the coolest place? Even though it was not a hugely long walk we were very tired when we got home. Our noses were in overdrive and as any doggy knows it takes lots of effort to make sure we identify all new smells correctly. Then we had a rest while our humans looked at some of the plants that were there.

I'm having a rest.
Before we knew it, it was time to go. We had a fantastic time and we can't wait to go again.

We're going home. Hope to be back soon!!

YOU YANG'S WALK

Hey Angus here. Today we went for a lovely drive to the You Yangs. Once we got there we went for a lovely walk and as it was such a nice day we were there for about two hours.

This is the You Yangs. It's apparently a six kilometre drive from where we live. Isn't it a beautiful mountain?

Now explain to me again why I'm not allowed up on the seats?

Ah, now this is the life. I, of course, made sure to get a head rub on the way there.

Getting closer to the You Yangs now!

Now because the You Yangs is a national park dogs must be kept on leads at all times which is very fair we think as we would hate to spoil it for the animals that live there.

We went down this trail as it was quite wheelchair friendly for our human.

Isn't it a beautiful spot? Just look at all the lovely plants. Off we went.

Off we go!!

Further on we came to this sign that had a picture of an eagle.

Basically what it said according to my human is that a few years ago a man made a eagle out of stones and it's believed to protect the you yang's. Every few years it files above the you yangs and keeps everything in harmony. If you walk up high enough you can see what it looks like and we bet it looks very good.

This is me standing on one of the bigger rocks used to make it. It was almost bigger that me.
A little later on Angus and I spotted the biggest rock we had every seen.

Isn't it huge?
After a while we came across a little bridge so I did some posing for Ros.

It turned out very well if i do say so myself.
Than after doing some posing we wanted to keep going so we went on with our adventure.

A walking we shall go.
Than another photo opportunity was found so more modelling was in order.

And it turned out very well if i do say so myself. The peroson holding on to me is Ros's Mum and holding on to Milo is a very good family friend. Then on the way back we found another bridge to pose on.

We were having such fun!!!
There were also lots of lovely flowers everywhere.

Aren't they lovely?
Soon it was time to go home again even though it seemed like we had only just arrived. As we some times hear our humans say, "Doesn't time fly when your having fun?" Today we think we finally understood what they're talking about!
We had a great time today and can't wait to go back for another You Yangs adventure.

BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS

Hey, Milo here. A few days ago we had a very exciting day out. We went to the blessing of the animals at our local church. It was heaps of fun. There were lots of other people that turned up.

Isn't it a cute little church?

Here I am posing by the sign.

Here I am posing by the sign.
After posing by the sign we went into the church grounds to meet the other people and dogs that had come.

This is Mac, a Blue Shar Pei that was there. He was quite cute.

Then after saying hello to everyone we went inside the church for the blessing which was fun. Unfortunately my human was not fast enough to get any photos.

So after that we came back outside to have a little rest while our human chatted.

Soon it was time to go home again. We did some more posing first though.

We had a great time and were tired when we get home but can't wait until next year's one.

AMONG THE FLOWERS

Hey, Angus here! Yesterday Milo and I went to the oval as it was such a lovely day. It was 21 degrees!! The perfect weather for a walk.

Isn't it such a beautiful day?
We got there and the fun began. First we played chase.

Here we are playing chase.
Then we had fun having a sniff around.

We had been there for a while and were getting a little hot so Ros quickly found some nice shade and we all had a nice sit down and relax.Plus we got a nice big drink of water.

I'm having a drink.

Waiting for my turn!
So after our drinks we went to have a rest in the grass.

Having a rest!

Oh what's that?
After a rest we had cooled down lots and we had some fun chasing each other again. Then we had another rest.

Then Ros decided it was time to go home.So we were ready to head home when suddenly Ros stopped and let us off again. What was she up to? Well, there were lots of nice dasies everywhere so Ros wanted to take some pictures of us among the flower.

Aren't the flowers so beautiful? Ros said we did a great job of posing for the camera.

Aren't we so handsome?
Well we had a fantastic time out yesterday and where tired when we got home but we can't wait till our next adventure.
