The entrance sign ! After we had found a place to park the car we headed off to explore. It's a beautiful spot with wide open spaces that has a river to one side. A perfect doggie paradise.
So after pawsing to admire the view we headed off on our walk with me leading the way. We didn't get far though as right away I came across hundreds of smells. Of course I had to stop to read the local news. There was so much there that for a good ten minutes straight my nose was running flat out to make sure I didn't miss anything important.
I was just so thrilled about being somewhere new I could barely choose which way to look as it was all so exciting.
After I was satisfied that I had read all the news we headed off on our walk around Presidents Park. All together Presidents Park has three kilometres of walking tracks so it is a good hour long walk.
We had been walking for what seemed like a very short time when suddenly we came across another doggie. Isn't she cool looking?
She was a deerhound x boxer x staffordshire bull terrier. She had this really cute collar of wiry fur around her neck coming from her deerhound roots. We had a great time saying hello to each other.
After we had finished saying hello to each other we continued on with our walks. My human wanted to get some photos of my handsome self so once I had sniffed out a suitable location the photo taking began.
Don't I look very handsome? After my photo taking was done we continued on with our walk but firstly we stopped to get a photo of the park.
We kept going and soon found a cute little patch of trees and plants that was filled with smells so I had a lot more fun checking out the peemail.
After exploring here we continued on with our walk. Suddenly we came across two labrador doggies like me. Oh Boy! I was just so excited when they came over to say hello to us.
Their humans were very nice and gave me a good scratch on my back which I loved. It is always pawesome coming across people who have other doggies like me as it usually means that our humans will have lots to talk about while watching us play. Which means , of course, we can spend a longer time making friends.
After saying hello our humans thought it would be a good idea to do a group shot. First we tried a sitting shot and then a few lying down shots and if I say so myself they came out very well. Even though it took us a little while to get us all sitting down perfectly near each other.
Didn't it turn out well?! I was, of course, the most handsome one there. After our labrador photo shoot we went our separate ways. We had been there for a very long time so the humans started walking back towards the car to go home. Not before Ros took some more photo of the scenery though.
Isn't it a lovely spot ? Finally we had arrived back at the car and I jumped straight in ready to go home.
Well I had a pawesome time at President's Park yesterday and I can't wait to go back again soon. I slept all the way home dreaming of my day out at President's Park.
That Park looks a wonderful place for meeting friends :-) Great photos of you with those golden labs but of course you were the most handsome and such a lovely last photo too - woofs and licks from Magic xx

Hi Y'all,
ReplyDeleteMilo, what fun y'all had!
Oh my, I'll have to get my Humans to take me for a walk in the park again so I can see some of my old friends and meet some new ones. We've been going where I can go off lead and we don't, or almost never, see anything but wildlife.
Y'all come back now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Wow, it seems you had some good sniffs and met so many new friends! What a lovely day you had!
ReplyDeleteEva loves it whenever she sees us having her leash and she knows that she is having a trip or a walk with us.
Gosh look at all those wide open spaces for doggies to run around!! :)
ReplyDeleteYour new friends look like lots of fun, and you all posed so nicely for the camera!
Sorry it has taken us so long to get around and visit you Milo! Hopefully we won't disappear again
Licks and lots of slobber,
Lexi and Jasper the Danes
