INTRODUCING DASIY

Hey Milo here! Today is another very exciting day! As you know we've had Annie staying with us this week. Well let me introduce you to Daisy. She is also a black labrador and she is going to be staying with us this week for a hoilday. What fun.

Isn't she so adorable ?

First we went outside and like any proper dog she immediately started sniffing everything.

Ah, this is interesting. I wonder what it could be ?

Then Ros went inside to get my new red tug toy and the fun began.

Here we are playing chase. Isn't this an amazing action shot?

Here I'm trying to get her to chase me again. come on ; chase me. You know you want to.

And we're off.

Resting for a bit.

Doesn't last long! Seconds later we're running flat out again. You can't get me.

Here I've just caught my toy that Ros had just thrown for us and it seems I wish to keep it to myself for a few seconds so I may have poked my tongue out a tiny bit.

Then Ros and I played some tug.

Grrrrr, it's mine. Then I tried to show Daisy how awesome my tug toy was. I want my friends to grab it while they are chasing me. It's fantastic fun and is my favourite game to play. Daisy didn't understand that she could grab the red tug toy as well so that was something we quickly made right.

Just look at how excited I am that daisy's here. Come, get it! Come on, come on, get it!

I was so happy that I fell over! Look at my big smiley face. Check out my toy balancing skills. Aren't they so cool!? We went from this to this.

Playing chase again and look at her tug grabbing technique. We had been running ourselves ragged since Dasiy got here so Ros decided it was time to cool down labrador style.

This is our own personal swimming pool. It's just the perfect size. Just big enough to lie down in to get your tummy wet and also leaves enough space to splash if you want to.

Well Daisy adored the pool. Ros said she looked like a windup toy. She would fly in, start to dig as fast as she could then she put her nose under the water and blew bubbles which Ros thought was very funny.

Ah, water, beautiful water

Isn't she so beautiful when she's wet? She just might be my best doggie friend apart from Angus of course.
Finally I got a turn. This is me enjoying a nice swim in our own swimming pool.

I am so nice and cool. I love hopping in after walks as it's the perfect way to cool down quickly.
Now after cooling down Ros went inside to get something from her room. It was quite a mystery. After 2 mintues she came back with our favourite toy.

This is my very favourite toy.
Now at first Annie and Daisy weren't too sure about each about each other but once we went outside they were fine. Perhaps it was too crouded inside for them to feel happy with each other; but as you can see they were soon fast freinds.

Me, Annie and Dasiy playing chase with my favourite toy and after today it just might be daisies as well. Next, we played Tug.

Here we come tug Olympics! Well if there isn't one, perhaps we could create one? We played tug for awhile which was great fun.

Grrrrr, give it,give it.

Here we're resting for a bit.

Today has been a great day. Annie is going tomorrow but we have enjoyed meeting her. Daisy's staying with us this week and we hope she will have a good time and enjoy all our adventures this week.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN

Hey Milo Here! Today has been a very big day. We went to the oval for an hour or so but that's not what's so exciting. We have a new friend staying with us this week. Her name is Annie and she is a 15 month old Black Labrador who loves chasing the ball.

Isn't she cute?
We got to the oval at 10:10a.m. It was such a lovely day today that we just had to get out and about . Ros grabbed all our toys and the leads and off we headed to the oval.
First Annie and I played chase which was fun and she was really fast.

You can't catch me!!!
Then Angus and I played tug which was great. We really like the new red tug toy as it is so strong that we were able to really pull it and it barely even stretched.

Grrrrr.We're so strong.

Grrrrr. I'm going to win.

Preparing for the famous Milo head shake proven to get tug toys off both humans and dogs alike.

I got it and just look at how proud I am.

Angus and I playing bitey face. When we're at home, this is our favourite game.

Then we played ball with my small basket ball.

Annie really liked the ball and being the good boy that I am I let her have a great play with it.

She was very energetic.
Next we played ball.

I'm going to get it!!

Playing tug with one of my human's friends. I must say she had fantastic tug technique!!! Really triple A skills so we really had a great play.
Even Angus excelled himself. He ran after the ball at least five times and had to run about 30 feet so ros was very proud of him.

I got it.

Just about to go home after a great time out. We slept very well once we got home but can't wait till our next adventure.

A WALK DOWN BOADLES

Milo Here! Today Ros and I went for a walk down Boadles Lane. It was great fun and as it was a nice day we went for a very big walk. Ros reckons we went at least 12 Km so it was great. It made me feel really good as it felt like I was migrating to a new place which as all dogs know is the best type of walk. It makes you concentrate on walking so your brain gets a workout too!

When you get home you fall asleep immediately.

A walking we shall go.

I'm still going. I am having such fun.

A bit further on we spotted a huge puddle so Ros let me have some fun splashing in it.

Isn't that a great puddle for splashing in and can you believe how big it is ?

Standing in the water to cool of a little bit then Ros deicided it was time to keep going but promised on the way back I could run through the puddle again.

I'm still going.

Here we are stopping for a sniff.

Then Ros wanted to take some pictures of me standing still so we did that a few times. The first try did not work out so well though.

Milo! Earth to Milo!!!
The next two tries worked very well however.

I got lots of good boy Milo for staying so still! Well, really, what does she expect? I'm always a good boy!

Aren't I so handsome? Can you see I'm a bit wet from walking through all the puddles that were about?

Ah, just look at how relaxed I am. Plus look at my big smiley face.

On the way home after a fantastic walk. I really had a great walk today. Ros did too.

I went from this........

To this!! Good night everybody!

PUPPIES PLAYING

Hey Milo Here! Today was a very nice day. The first one we've had in awhile so we went for a walk to the oval which was great fun and it was the first chance we had to play with our new toys.

These are our new toys. Aren't they so cool and we had so much fun playing with them all day. We arrived at the oval at the oval at 10:40am and for the first half an hour or so we ran around the oval sniffing everything it was such fun! It felt great to be able to streach our legs after so many rainy days.

Here I am chasing Angus. We're having such fun.
Also as everyone knows it has been raining a lot lately so because of this there were fantastic puddles everywhere. What fun to lie in!!

The puddles are so much fun and both of us got nice and muddy which felt great and as everyone knows it helps the coat. Or at least, that's what we tell people.

Don't I look so beautiful and muddy?

Ah! Mud,beautiful mud. We tried sharing it with ros but she was not as enthusiastic as we had hoped. Sometimes she can be quite the disappointment.
So after having so much fun splashing in the puddles we started playing with all our new toys. First we played with some something humans called a chuck . It throws the ball long distances with very little effort and also means humans don't have to bend down to pick up the ball. It did take me a few goes to get the idea but once I had it I had a blast chasing after the ball. Ros also thought it was a great toy and she was very excited how far she could get the ball to go.

Come on! Come on!! Throw it, throw it.

Here I'm chasing after my toy.

Here I'm coming back with my toy.
Next we played with our new red tug toy, that's nice and stretchy. It's great nice and strong and can be used for everthing whether tygging or fetching.

When I got it I tried my hardest to get Angus to play tug with me.

Come on play with me!!!!

Next I played with my small soccer ball. The best thing about it is it has a squeaker. I love toys with squeakers. I run laps just making it squeak. It's such fun.

Then we played with my other new tug toys.

We had a fantastis day out today and all the toys were great fun to play with. We slept for hours after we got home but we can't wait for our next day out.
