DIXIE COMES TO VIST

Hi Milo & Jet here! Yesterday we were very excited to hear we were having a visitor come over for a play date. We couldn't wait for their arrival. Then we heard a car pull up so we raced out the front to welcome our new friend.  Dixie is a Basset Fauve de Bretagne. Dixie is a rare French scent hound. Isn't she cute?
We decided to go for a nice walk around town so once all our leads were put on we headed off on our walk.  Early on in our walk we spotted two very interesting, very large dogs.  We stopped to have a look at them before continuing on with our walk.

We had soon reached the park where we decided to stop for a group photo.  Don't we look cute ?
We continued on to the river where Milo & I were let off our leads to explore.  We hadn't been to the river for a little while so there were many new smells to sniff out.
After all that exploring we decided it was time for another group photo.  Don't  we all look very happy?
Then whilst resting on the grass Dixie started giving Milo some nice kisses and playing pawsie.
We continued on sniffing as we went.
We soon arrived home where once we were let off our leads we all headed over for a big drink. Then we walked down the back for a nice rest in the sun and watched Jet and Dixie gave each other kisses.
After our kisses it was time for Dixie to go home. We said good bye and have our paws crossed she comes back for another play date with us soon.

  1. She's a sweetie. We're becoming more aware of the variety of Bassets in France--and probably other countries. The only problem with them is when they get a scent...they're off. So we can see why she had to stay on the lead.

Hope she can visit again soon. Looks like you had a fantastic day out.

Hope you're having some cooler weather. Now that Autumn is here, we've been having heat....go figure.
