OUR GEELONG HOLIDAY PART TWO

Hey Milo & Jet here! We woke up on the second day of our holiday to see Ros with our leads already in her hand so we knew that we about to go on another lovely walk. This time Ros told us she was taking us to the Geelong Botanic Gardens. We couldn't wait to get going so of we headed towards the gardens.
There were many interesting smells along the way so of course Milo & I had to check out each individual smell. We almost sniffed our noses right off with all the smelling that we did.

On the way there we walked past a lovely little rose garden that lay in the middle of a park, so we stopped to have a look as we where walking past and we spotted two Eastern Rosella enjoying there breakfast of grass seeds.
It wasn't long before we were in sniffing distance of the gardens we started getting very excited about what we would see. This was the sight that greeted us when we arrived.
Isn't it pawesome? The garden has many small gardens that are all joined together to make in look like one big garden. The plant's in all the different gardens came from different areas in the world so there were some very strange looking plants.
This is a grass tree it's a native australian plant that grows very slowly, they grow a centimetre a year so this plan could be a least 600 hundred years old. How awesome is that :)

After having a lovely stroll threw the gardens we decided it was time for some family photo's. First though a location had to sniffed out and it didn't take us long to find the perfect place.
Don't we all look lovely together ? After the family photo Milo and I decided to get our photo taken together as well so walked over to the grassy area to begin photo taking.
Don't we both look so very handsome! After photo taking we decided to go for a little walk and we found a lovely fernery area that had some lovely sculptures hidden amongst the ferns.
While amongst the ferns we found another place to take another lovely family photo.
After photo's we went for another little stroll around the gardens and we saw some more interesting statues and Jet also stopped to pose for a photo.
Photo's and fun finished Ros decided it was time to start heading back but not before Jet & I did some more sniffing of smells.
We had a fantastic time at the gardens and we can't wait to go back one day soon. Once we arrived back at Anan Cara we fell straight to sleep after our big morning out bye now from Milo & Jet.
